Welcome to our garden. Our home in Albany is nicknamed Eden. We don't have much room and too much shade, but we manage to make it work.

We do have other passions besides daylilies...
...like roses...

...and orchids.

In the spring, there's quite a show...

  ...as our collection continues to grow...

...and grow and grow.

We continue to add and develop new beds. 

Most recently we added this area
for the seedlings I selected to hold for further evaluation.

Seedlings are started inside, then placed in this cart for hardening

before they are moved to the seedling bed.


This photo was taken in March, shortly after an annual rust haircut
for the second year plants. Newly planted seedlings are in the front right.


By late April the first scapes were appearing.

From colorful spring...

...filled with dogwoods and azaleas...

...to tropical summer...

...we enjoy our little piece of Eden.
